Ayuso’s “bulerías” with fruit, beers and joints

That Isabel Díaz Ayuso likes to break out in "bulerías" when she gives a speech, due to hoaxes and lies, is nothing new, since her low-level oratory doesn't catch anyone by surprise.
The first thing that comes up is a problem, in the form of a self-confessed cheating boyfriend or more than 7,000 deaths in nursing homes during the pandemic, and he, like a headless chicken, starts firing indiscriminately at everything and everyone who isn't on the same wavelength as his communications team.
Thus, last Sunday, June 1, taking advantage of the midpoint of her term as head of the Community of Madrid, the regional president made a further staunch defense of the "cañitas", also taking aim at the Minister of Health, Mónica García, with another hoax from her infamous repertoire: "Well, the minister likes joints, I like fruit. To each his own", Ayuso exclaimed in a neighborhood chav tone.
This surreal outburst (yet another) by the president of the Community of Madrid was a featured story on the Channel 2 program Malas Lenguas hosted by Jesús Cintora, from which we offer you, in this report, a very revealing 3-minute clip.
In the television program, the Minister of Health also answered the presenter's question about whether you like joints?
Mónica García's response was very clear: "There's a whole bunch of nonsense going on there. This whole tour of insults and insinuations includes me, and I must say she's very disoriented when it comes to my tastes. Besides, I don't interfere with hers, and I just say she should pay for her preferences, her luxury penthouses, or whatever she consumes, and let her pay for them, not Quirón." She added, "I think she's overwhelmed and disoriented."
On more than one occasion, the data and many experts have criticized Ayuso's campaign in defense of the "cañitas" (small straws), as this is not at all about health, but rather just another of her vulgar populisms.
With these outbursts, Ayuso is not defending the hospitality industry, she is creating an identity framework of beers against joints, turning the beer into a kind of national symbol of that rancid and immovable right-wing Madrid, against the joints represented, apparently according to her, by the Socialist Minister of Health.
When the Minister of Health was also asked on the programme What could be behind Ayuso's reference to joints? Mónica García stated that it could be for two reasons: “Either it is the result of ignorance and bad faith or she says it because we have approved the use of medicinal cannabis. Ignorance is what would lead her to that, and the fact that she doesn't know anyone who suffers from chronic pain. So, well, either this, or another act of bad faith, no other story.”
It is very serious to see how Ayuso trivializes and trivializes alcohol consumption, in line with M. Rajoy and his famous “Long live wine”, since all the statistical data and scientific evidence point to alcohol as the drug that causes the most deaths not only in Spain but throughout the world.
The question isn't about beers versus joints, but rather beers and joints. We'd be lying if we didn't say that we all like to have a nice cold "cañita" from time to time, now that these warmer months are coming, and if we happen to smoke a joint along the way to relax a little, all the better. Of course, everything should be done in moderation and with responsible and adult consumption of joints and beers, although for Ms. Ayuso the latter may be at her discretion.
What we humbly recommend to the president of the Community of Madrid, to get out of her state of, as the minister said, "ignorance and disorientation," is that she have one of her little beers on the terrace of her brand-new penthouse (allegedly paid for by Mr. Quirón) and wash it down with a good joint; that way, perhaps she'd relax and be able to speak with a little more knowledge of the matter, although when it comes to her, that will be very, very difficult.😊
